No two families look the same. Here's how I show up for yours, whether you need hands-on help, someone to talk to, or a calm presence in the chaos. For the record, there's no expiry date on needing support. Four days postpartum or four months in, you're not too late.
Ways I can support your family
Sundown Support
The witching hour is a whole thing, and it hits hard when you've been at it all day. I come in so you can actually step away for a bit, eat something, breathe, whatever you need.
Daytime Visits
Someone to sit with you, help with feeding, bounce the baby while you finally get a shower without listening for a cry. Some days it's practical stuff and some days it's just having another adult around who isn't going to panic or have opinions about your choices.
Getting to Sleep
Settling a baby is physical work. I sing, I bounce, I do the deep squats that somehow work when nothing else does, I rock and sway and use motion to talk an overtired little body down.
Feeding Support
Nursing, bottle, combo, whatever your goal is, I'm here to help you get there. I believe there's no wrong way to feed your baby, and I don't think you need a reason to choose any of the options.
Virtual Consultations
Can't do in-person, or just not ready for that yet? Prefer texting, voice notes, keeping it async? Zoom, Telegram, carrier pigeon, all on the table. Avoid the 2am Google spiral, phone a friend (your doula).
Sibling & Family Support
Adding a new baby to the mix is a lot for everyone in the house, big kids very much included. I help the whole family find its feet, not just the person who gave birth.
Simple, and the same for everyone.
One rate, $65 an hour. Virtual consultations also at $65/hour — book by the hour when you need it, or buy a package if you'd rather have support already in place. Packages come at 15% off, and you use the hours as life actually unfolds, days, evenings, a bit of both.
A single visit or the occasional extra set of hands. No minimum, no commitment. Virtual consultations also \$65/hour.
A soft landing for the first stretch. Roughly a week or two of regular visits. Virtual or in-person.
Ongoing support through the early weeks, spread the way your household needs it. Virtual or in-person.
Consistent presence across the first months and beyond, for support that is simply there. Virtual or in-person.
